My mp3!

In this time I prefer writte about my favourite piece of technology, it is the mp3 (music reproductor).

I use the mp3 in various situations:

- When I am going to university either in the subway, to walking or in the bus.

- When I do works that need inspiration works such as the introduction, conclusion, analysis,etc.

- When I want to dance in front of a mirrow.

- Finally when I can not sleep, I listen to music in my bed but with a low volume.

The mp3 that I have actually, I bought in Paris store, because I needed a pendrive-mp3 to save information and listen to music. I paid for this aproximately $24990; two years ago.

I frequently used the mp3, but in the last time I hardly ever used the music reproductor, because occupied many batteries and these are highly polluting.

I like the mp3 because I can listen to music anywhere.

Really is easy to imagine my life without mp3, because there is always the radio and I can listen to music in my house.

Midwifery!

When I finished the high school I wanted study Medicine but my score in the PSU was not suficient for my purpose. After that I looked other options related with health area, and found nursing, midwifery and odontology.
Nursing is not a career for my pleasure, I could not studying it.
I liked Odontology, but when I was a little girl, in primary school. Than in the high school I hated physics and in this subject is the most important in this career.
Finally I chose Midwifery, because the courses and subjects were similar to those of Medicine. In that time I thought a career change after giving the PSU again. The last thing did not happen.
Actually I know that Obstetrics is the right career for me, because I imagine working as a midwife, I have a project to study abroad and to improve myself, I thought of making social work to help people through my profession.
Last year I had the opportunity to be present when a midwife attended women in the attention room, the midwife was very nice with the pacients and in that moment I deciced work like midwife.
Three events caused an impact on my:
First-> When I met the midwife in the attention room, because she was very friendly whit me and I could also participate actively in the care. From that moment I wanted to work in consulting room.
Second-> When I talked with a teacher C.F., because she told me that Obstetrics is a profession most associated with happines when bringing a new member in a family.
Third-> When I was in a course called "Educación para la Salud I", because here I was motivated to educate people and they can be participants in their health.

My favorite website!!

Really I don´t have a favorite website for the University, but always that I want search something information I´m going to the site: www.uchile.cl/bibliotecas.

This website has different sections, for example: title page, presentation, all faculties at Universidad de Chile, information about undergraduate and postgraduate studies, several research , extension and culture and libraries. Furthermore the page has a clasification about applicants, students, academic, officials and graduates.

With regard to the libraries section, this is organized by information resources where you can find: catalog, digital libary, database, database integrator, electronic journals, chilean journals, Universidad de Chile journals, and others.

The main characteristics are: you can put limits for you search like publication date, in human or animals, language, in male o female, etc.; furthermore It´s a save site and you can send the paper to the mail. This website has information about Medicine, Art, Economy, Law, Architecture, etc.

I often use the site: www.uchile.cl/bibliotecas, every time that I must do a work, especially that the teachers to request confidence bibliography.

I like this website, because I can find various topics and is very fast, also in every research you find an abstracs about of the studies.

I recommend this site because it´s a tool to be integrated proffesional and have knowledge of many aspects.
